When you place an order on eCondolence.com, we guarantee that the recipient will receive items that are freshly prepared by the best bakeries and food producers.  Each order is carefully prepared with the top quality baked goods, desserts, fruit, and more. As these items are delivered or shipped from different locations throughout the United States the shipping and delivery times may vary. All orders are shipped through UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Orders are not delivered Sunday or on the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Some perishable items may not be shipped over a weekend.

When are orders processed for shipment?
All orders are processed next business day for shipment, unless otherwise stated in the product description. We recommend that you refer to each individual product page for specifics regarding processing time.

How will I know if my order has been shipped?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment notification email containing a tracking number, if available, for each package in your order.

How are orders packaged?
All items are freshly prepared and packaged in a timely manner. During the summer months, some of our more perishable items (such as chocolate) will be shipped in insulated boxes with icepacks to ensure that they arrive in their best condition. 

Does someone need to be present to accept the delivery of a package?
No. Your items can be delivered to the recipient address without signature notarization. We ship all packages “signature release” because of the perishable nature of most of our items. This means USPS, UPS and FedEx will leave the package at the doorstep or gate associated with the recipient address without requiring a signature. Please advise the recipient of the estimated delivery time in order to ensure that the package is brought inside as soon as possible.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?
If you have chosen multiple items within the same order, you may select a different recipient address for each item. Once you have selected your desired items, proceed to your “Shopping Cart.”  You will see that before you proceed to checkout there is an option to “Checkout with multiple addresses.” Once you’ve entered and saved your recipient addresses, you will be able to select which items you would like sent to each address and proceed with your checkout.

What shipping carriers are used?
Our providers ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. The shipping services that are available depend on three variables - the location of our provider, the delivery address, and the “max allowable transit time” for the item.
